Ju opens the heddles by grabbing hold of the shed roll and a bamboo slat which she places on top of the warp and rolling both away from her while pulling up on the heddles. When I use a second cross in my warp, I use this method. I enjoyed showing Ju another way that I use to open my heddles by rolling them over my hand. At first she was anxious to show me that U ws doing something wrong but then saw that it worked and laughed.
