From left to right: simple warp floats decorate a cotton saddle bag from Manabi province in coastal Ecuador, the same patterning technique on a blanket woven by Montagnard weavers and a simple but very effective piece made in Sagada, Mt. Province in The Philippines. The latter was sent to me by a lady who lives in The Philippines and with whom I spent many hours in Los Angeles airport on one of my standby flight sagas.
