My goals for Convergence were expose people to backstrap weaving and all the great weaving that can be done on this simple loom as well as to sell and promote my monograph which had just become available as a hard copy. I was based at the Weavoluion booth so that I could give Weavolution co-founder Alison Giachetti a break now and then. We shared the booth with SWA (Spinning and Weaving Association).
