Things reealy started to look up when my second customer turned out to be Madelyn Van der Hoogt of Handwoven magazine. You can imagine that I was feeeling pretty good by this time. You can see Madelyn above trying out a handwoven jacket she had picked up from one of the stand and with my book in hand. Tien Chu, one of Weavolution’s founders came by to show her latest project – a beautiful double weave shawl. Paty Graver of Interweave flew byto say hi and I was very happy to have a visit from John Mullarky of TWIST as we had met online at weavoltuion whie admiring each others’ bands on the Project page there.
