The base of the ittle Gutaemaln tree is a double horizontal line. To form this, place a starnd of around 30cm/12″ of supplementary weft under the central patterning warp. The two ends on either side should be of equal length. THe ecntral warp in my set up just happens to be in patterning shed 2 so I have started in the heddle shed.
