LEFT: Six weft passes form the cmplete leaf as shown in the above drawing. The weft ends are passed hrough the main shed for half an inch or so and then passed out the back of the weaving. If you have beated your wefts in frmly, you should be able to snip all the pattern weft ends off when your piece is off the loom. RIGHT: Here you can see the finished leaf. The grren weft continues wrapping aroud the central warp. Pass the main weft through two more sheds until you are back in the shed with the cetral warp. hEre you can start laying in wefts for your second leaf in exactly the same way as the first.
