The warp faced South American pick up techniques that I wove on the Navajo loom. Now I am spoiled with my backstrap loom and the way it allows to me increase and relax tension at will. Bt I have to remind myself that I was perfectly happy weaving these pieces on a fixed tension loom – for those of you who would like to give these technique a try but are not into backstrapping.
