LEFT: The 11 sticks on this upright loom in Ecuador will become heddle sticks. The 22-row design which is horizontally symmetrical will be programmed into these 11 heddle sticks. RIGHT: This is one of my warps on a Navajo loom. I hvae a lot of extra sticks to separate the colors as I am using 4 colors in my pebble weave. This helps to keep them in order while I do the pick up.
